Serving Colorado Naturists and Nudists since March 1997
| Question | I do not have a perfect body. I have had surgery, and I am over weight. Will I be out of place with a bunch of "perfect hard bodies" staring or making fun of me? |
| Answer | Absolutely not! First, everyone has a perfect body. It is the body you inhabit 24 hours a day, every day of your life, and it serves you well. Do you look like a "pin-up" model (male or female)? Probably not, but then, how many people do you know personally who qualify? The RMN (as is true with most naturist clubs) is made up of a diverse group of people representing diverse ages, cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Our members come in all shapes, sizes and ages. The philosophy of the AANR and the TNS is "Body Acceptance". This is something we also believe in and practice at the RMN. The first step in an enjoyable nudist experience is being ok with yourself. |
| Question | I am a single woman. Will I be safe? I don't want to be "stalked after", stared at, or "hit on". |
| Answer | The chances of being inappropriately "hit on", etc. are much less than most public functions you currently attend. In a naturist environment, people are more respectful than in most textile public settings. No means no and inappropriate behavior is not tolerated! You can relax and be yourself without fear! |
| Question | Is this a safe and healthy place to bring my young children? |
| Answer | Children make the most natural nudists of all. They learn and practice respect for the "person" instead of the facade. Living in a open, honest nudist environment helps to educate children and dispel the myths and curiosities they have about "growing up". Naturists look out for the children. It truly is a very safe and healthy environment for children of all ages. The RMN has a number of families with children and grand children ranging from three to seventeen years of age. |
| Question | Do I have to be nude if I am not comfortable? |
| Answer | The RMN is a "Clothing Optional" club. This means that clothing is always optional! It is perfectly acceptable to wear your clothing if you are uncomfortable for any reason. Even those who do not wear swim suits often wrap towels when they get out of the pool or hot tub. Each person is free to decide if, when and where they will be naked. However, no matter what else you wear, we suggest that you always wear a SMILE! It is contagious. |
| Question | Just what do you do at your NUDE functions? |
| Answer | The same things other people do at NON-NUDE functions... We swim, soak in the hot tub, participate in pot luck parties, play bingo, play cards and other table games, play volleyball, take hikes, campout, enjoy great conversation with friends, watch football on TV, etc. We just do it nude. |
| Question | I've heard that you all are swingers and you have sex orgies. |
| Answer | Absolutely NOT! The RMN is a NON-SEXUAL, family oriented organization. We do not allow or tolerate sexual behavior at club functions. We set our standards for touching and displaying affectionate behavior at the same standard, or higher, than that of a fully clothed family oriented public environment. |
